Ok Tim here is your no need to back read summary. Virtually everyone on here are and drank to much yesterday. All had a great time no drama ensued. Chris dived deep on some diesel, Craig is Xmas shopping, pallet of PBR going for 14 bucks brought back a bunch of college debauchery. Karl still has a kink in his neck, mine is still red tho,we had a celebrity guest drive by from Dave and he is well. Forum is changing gears to Xmas and we are all eating pie and ice cream for breakfast out of leftovers this morning. And as always Hoppy is on yet another dizzy buying escapade of some kind! All good here on FABO.

Hell that was lunch in senior year of high school. 18 you could buy it.

18 we were buying at 16.

Drinking age here has always been 21 since I can remember...

But back in the old days, you could buy beer in Wisconsin at 18.... So, lots of 18 - 20 year olds from here would go across the border into Wisconsin to buy beer and smuggle it back here...

One time we went on vacation to waaayyyy up in Wisconsin with our best friends that we hung out with in Jr high and high school... (So far up there in Wisconsin, it was only 30 minutes from the upper peninsula Michigan border...) An easy 8 hour drive from here.... Their family would go there every summer before school started to fish and water ski and during Christmas break to snow mobile for a couple of weeks.... Somehow we had to drive our truck up there also and finaggled our way into getting to leave before the parents when summer vacation was over... Just us 16 - 18 year olds in our 79 Warlock II standard cab pick up... With about 1 or two cases of beer stashed behind the driver's seat....

Jim was on his turn driving and anxious to get home and we passed a cop going the opposite direction on the divided highway, who then cranked a 180 turn through the grass median to pull us over for doing 80 MPH... Since we were from Illinois, the cop made us drive to a local grocery store and buy a money order on the spot to pay the ticket.... We still had a couple cases of beer behind the front seat and didn't want to cause any trouble to make the cop search our truck and catch us with the beer, so we paid the ticket and got the f*ck outta there as fast as possible....

So we were back on the road and made it home at least 4 hours before their parents did, with a case of beer behind the front seats...

You forgot to tell him that Hoppy's wife wants to freeze her chest and his tool is rigid....

Cause and effect....

the wife wanted a chest freezer, and HD has smoking deals on them. Hey you need ridged tools they are about half off at HD also.

I’m not. I’m more pissed cause I got yelled out for not being ready to leave at 5, mins you she waited until then to tell me, as I’m laying on the couch half asleep. And considering she’s never on time to go anywhere. Still has me annoyed.

Like this first part of this skit...

I figure fargo will be in shop by 2:00 pm.
Checked trapline, looks like there was only one furry little bastard in the quonset. Will keep it baited for the winter though. Going to set up one more in my parts shed, and seal it up.

Well a little late but, good morning.

Nice family video there Stephen...And a Great job you are doing on building that house yourself...You will have much pride in it when it is done. I know, because I did the same thing, albeit 30 years ago....

Brake line ready to go in. I split it in middle so its easier to install. Then fight with bleeder screws and abs.

Brake line installed, next is pads, rotors, shoes and drums. Right after he brings me tires. Only pulling wheels once. Out it goes until tuesday.

bleeding brakes was a battle as abs unit was airlocked. Got it beat i think.

That was good...Turkey samich and my last octoberfest beer. Did my beer run. 12 of Shiner Bock and a six of Nahrwal. Stove (welding) gloves -check. I didn't find the spark plug for my snowblower. Before I get too crazy searching or order one online, I need to verify that the one in it was actually correct. Stopped at the antique store and bought a flower pot and ordered a cool little crock jar. She is having these made -locally I believe. Will say Red Lion(our town).Probably not ready for Christmas though.
