Getting rid of the TV altogether.....

Interesting. 3 of the TV's do have HDMI's. I believe usb's as well. So I would have to buy a Roku box for each tv? Will each tv have to be it's own account? Or will any of them work on one account?

Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first foray into the streaming only world. Been with Comcast for years and years, but Im tired of getting bent over and not even getting dinner out of it. lol
LOL!
1. yes, or a stick
2. no
3. yes....your email address is your account and a basic account is free. Each TV must be registered and activated separately tho. Roku kind of takes control, pretty annoying. If you don't activate the TV with Roku, you can't connect to the internet and thus cannot stream or get menuing of antenna channels. I'm not pushing Roku, there is plenty of competition out there. But's that's what I know and they are all similar. Except for the handling of the antenna channels. I think ChannelMaster may have something that does that too.

Edit:
Found this today, looks to handle OTA (antenna channels) quite well and you can do streaming by purchasing a Fire Stick (USB) for each TV. It will also stream your OTA to any TV with a Fire stick. There are some pretty bad reviews tho.

this may be the way to go

If you don't do OTA and just want to stream, it's not nearly as complicated. :)

Sorry for the thread hijack.
