I have several steering wheels that I want to sell. Most are the style shown in the pics below. I have two different questions:
1) What year(s?) did these wheels come on originally?
2) What year columns will they fit on without modification (assuming you have the center horn button and the mechanism between the button and the wheel)

Thanks for any help!!!

I have the other identical wheels with plymouth insignia on it too, so evidently both Dodge and Plymouth. I know it was not offered on a 70 Dart originally, then there is the separate question about what it fits on, even if not original...

I had one in a 1971 Demon bench seat interior. Car was all stock and original. 57K miles.

This wheel is not for a 1970 due to the curved spokes and deep center cap. It has the large center diameter so not from the 1960’s. Would be larger diameter than the column.

70-71 Dart, Duster, Demon low line wheel, the center emblem is removable so easy to change...

This is what I’ve commonly seen in 1970 cars. Straight spokes and a flat center cap with no Dodge or Plymouth emblem.

From 1970 to 1981 is Eleven years which is a long time, and people have and will swap parts for any little reason.

We will never know about your car for sure.

Yup 70 only

While we're on the steering wheel of fortune game, is this the correct wheel / horn pad on this '69 Swinger...

@dadsbee Are the upper door frames the right color according to the fender tag? Seems they should be more matching the dash and not the body color.

As I noted back over on FBBO, one reason I bought the car is the fender tag is lost and no Broadcast sheets so it's a clean slate to do what I want. Not another 4 year / 3000 hour #'s resto like my Bee was! Something I can play with any way I want. Has tan seat belts as well, so not even sure if the white door cards and seats are correct.

so what I see is that this wheel started in 1970 for Plymouth, but in 1971 for Dodge. Is this a correct wheel for 1972? Will it fit on columns for 73-76 or did the column change. I see ads for aftermarket wheels that say 1970-76, so I wonder if this wheel would fit on all of those (even if not factory correct).

Thanks for all of your help!
