Anybody ever install a abs plastic headliner into a swinger? Any problems or tips. At present have a cloth headliner but I'm pretty sure I can't replace, therefore go to a one piece one. Any problem with sail panels.

I had a cloth one put in last month. Legendary sells them. 1972 Dart swinger 2 door hardtop

Is that the pressboadr one with cloth overlay? Did you get the sail boards as well? Thanks.

It's cloth. And the sail boards go behind the headliner. Not in front of it.

Your going to need to take off the roof rail weather stripping and track on both sides of the car. Just a heads up.

I'm sure I don't have skill to install cloth one.
Me? I would easily choose the cloth headliner over the task of installing vinyl roof. I didn't think the roof rail metal trim had to come off - only the inside trim (to expose the rod clips and pointy 'hooks'). My 'gutted' Swinger covered up for (yet another) winter and too lazy to check it out. But what I do know is that front and back glass do not go back in - - until vinyl roof and 'liner are both installed.

The roof rail is easy. The weather stripping is just wedged in there. No glue so it pops out. Roof rail has 10 screws. So much easier with that out of way. Could you do it not taking it off? Probably. But it's like taking a engine and trans out but leaving the hood on. Lol

almost have it installed, what a pain in the ***. what did everyone use for sail panels, the ones that say 67-75? if so how did you attach them?
