Ah, you have the AC knee knocker...
Its easier to reach under and feel the flasher without that, its mounted in a clip but easily is removed and the wire has enough slack to allow it to dangle beneath the dash.
Can you remove the ash tray track? I see a few screws in your pic.
Flasher should be mounted just to the right side of that track.
