headlight delay relay location?

That is "key in" light lights up the interior of the ignition switch. I don't remember anymore, if it affected dome or not
Yeah it held the dome light on for a time too. This option was so a woman could fumble through her purse hunting the keys.
 
I have that option in 3 of my cars and it doesn't hold the dome light on in any of mine. Just the ignition switch light.

OK , maybe it changed after they lighted the keyhole. My 68 notch held the dome lamp on. That keyhole wasn't lighted.
 
My 70RR had the key in light, which I didn't even realize until "one dark night" LOL. At the time I bought that car, was stationed at NAS Miramar. Most the places I "inhabited" had street lights, etc, and hell, I just didn't notice the thing for MONTHS!!

That was a LONG time ago, and I don't remember any link to the dome light
 
Mystery solved. When I mounted horns I had pinched a wire in harness, just happened to be low beam, looked like maybe one strand was grounding. I was cking the front running lights when I found problem. Just have to be lucky sometimes I guess.
