For anyone who wants to know, The distance from the block, next to dist., to the top of the air cleaner on Small block, is 11 3/4 inch using Air-gap, Holley, and KN drop base air filter. The Distance using the 273 cast iron 4bbl intake, AFB, and 1/2 inch spacer, 273 un-silenced air cleaner, chrome, is......11 3/4. . Color me surprised....:thumbsup:
