Help me build a fast 440!

I've run the original M1 and the new Victor back to back on the dyno, the difference is with in two or three numbers. With the Victor having hp and the M1 having TQ so I would not hesitate using the M1. They were so close it was suprising.

I agree, if u already own a good aftermmarket intake, unless ur hunting every last hundreth , its not really worth the $$ to try to get the best made .
 
Sorry, I just now saw this. No, I did not. Not because it's not a fantastic recipe. Because it's too radical a build for what I'm doing. It's a race engine recipe. That's not what I'm building.

Yeah. The compression is really perfect for forced induction. Still wouldn't be a race application.

OIC just your everyday average little valiant with a 400 big block with forced induction LOL... Nothing to see here...
 
So.........in the three years that have gone by....... have you built your fast 440 yet?
still got the same 440 in it i built 15 years ago..did some house remodeling and new front end under the dart. hopefully i will get back to the new improved 440 build soon. still looking to have a plan on paper of what im going to do..

I did buy a Holley street dominator and installed it..cant really say i feel much of a difference..not sure
