which side?

So far as I know factory calipers mounted to FRONT. Guys (and me) swap them left to right so the calipers are at the rear to avoid problems with anti-sway bar interference. On some cars this screws up the brake hose routing. I used Volare hoses, later on someone discoverd ?? Camaro hoses fit the reversed setup

Yes, A-body (73-76) mounted the calipers to the front, BUT when the Aspen/Volare came out the calipers were rear mounted. The spindles are slightly taller and the caliper pistons are different size, but they look nearly identical. The bottom line is that the caliper doesn't care whether it is front mounted or rear, only that the bleeder is up.
