1967 barracuda windshield trim help

For the '67 A-Body applications with the correct mylar insert, you will want to purchase a Precision WCR D690 B gasket. The mylar insert is purchased separately and the number is WSL 690 B. If you should decide to go with the gasket for the stainless trim, the Precision gasket is WCR D690. The only gasket available for the notchback application is the style that uses the stainless trim as found on the 68 and 69 applications. The Precision part number is WCR DB4076.

Precision is the only manufacturer of the correct mylar inserts. It is a rigid piece and not a flexible lock bead as used on other applications. Some guys have used the flexible style with mixed results. The mylar insert for the fastback rear window is back available again. We had one customer who bought this insert in the hopes of modifying it to fit his notchback application, but I have no ideal on how it turned out.

As for the Precision gaskets in general, we have sold hundreds of the WCR D690 and WCR DAB4076 and have to say that the quality is very good. Most of the issues have been with incorrect installation procedures.
