Let's see any fabricated coil brackets for the LD4B or the D4B intake manifolds. Is mounting the coil vertically better than horizontally? I always had coils leak and swell the end of the coil wire up. GM used to mount them vertically. Any thoughts on this?

I mount mine veritcal, never any issues been over a year now. I bought a summit coil bracket think 25-30$

Just grab a firewall mount coil bracket off any pre-magnum Dakota or full size pickup at the pick n' pull, dirt cheap and you can mount it anywhere in any position.

MSD 8222 can be mounted anyway you want. It’s epoxy filled, no oil.

Bingo! Winner! Bulls eye!
Get a 6pk coil bracket, that's what I did. Lays horizontal.
Theres a member that makes them??
@68383GTS I think does.
I made my own 6 pack coil bracket to fit the Weiand dual plane intake. Members here suggested it. I used a generic coil bracket to hood the coil and bolted the chrome bracket to my home made one.
Sorry, it’s the only picture I have on the phone.
