Fan clutch choice

And a damper and timing cover change. And the pulleys.
For sure. I went the other way on my 1965 273, installing the later aluminum water pump. The reason was because I could only get the later radiator at Autozone. That was early in my resto before I knew of options. I didn't have to change the damper, but couldn't use the TRW power steering pump because the aluminum water pump doesn't fit its brackets, so had to change to a later Federal pump. I also had to rearrange the belts, sharing the water and p.s. pumps on the same belt (recall). I thought I could use the TRW p.s. pump on my 1965 Newport, but found it's TRW pump needs a different pulley and the pumps have different diameter shafts. "Nothing fits, or is easy" is the best summary.
