Anodizing not off?

As for clear... I looked at some spray can 2k clear coats, but reading the reviews. 1. you need a respirator. 2 many people said they turned the metal more of a matte/flat clear.

Someone recommended to me Sharkhide aluminum clear coat made by Eastwood. Reading reviews and looking online it seems to work very well and be the go to for the boating/marine community

I may spray some primer later.
