NO ONE????? need a quick answer, carpet needs to go in! :) its factory paper cut to size, holes punched for seat bar and everything.

If the carpet goes on the black hatch floor panel with no support, the carpet will just follow he corrugations and b wavy. What goes under the carpet ?
Help?

As far as i know, other than the padding attached to the carpet, nothing.

I recently encountered the same problem. The paper/thin cardboard under my carpet in the back carpet area was quite warped and crinkley and falling apart in areas. I replaced it with automotive carpet jute backing, which you can buy by the foot through various online sources (I think I used one I found through EBay). There are different thicknesses available. I think I used 1/2" or 5/8". Easy to cut with scissors (I used the paper/cardboard remnants as templates) and position in place with contact cement. Does a nice job of giving the carpet a smooth but soft look and feel. Probably helps sound dampen a little more than the original paper/cardboard.

I was able to reuse the cardboard on the back of my seat when I did mine. If you don't put it back in there the carpet won't be flat, because of the corrugations in the metal back. If it's degraded I would just get a large piece of poster board from a craft store.
