Going through old polaroid's I found the only picture I have of my first A body. I got it for $175 in 1995 because it was an "undesirable" /6 four door car. I swapped out the /6 with a 318 and 904, then promptly blew the 7&1/4" and installed an 8&1/4" . In this picture only the rear door handles are shaved but after a while I had all 4 handles shaved with hidden key entry. I didn't really want a 4 door myself but after building this project they really started to grow on me. Eventually I got this one into the 12s (way after this pic. was taken) without any subframe connectors.

This picture I took right after hoisting my engine and trans out then pushing the car out from under them into the driveway. I hated the hood scoop (on top of roof in pic.) but I also hated my air cleaner getting rained on so it was the lesser of 2 evils.

Now I have a more door 75 valiant that I think looks even better than this 70 (I know I'll have to dodge some tomato's for that comment). If you have a 4 door you love post it up! I'd love to see them.

I'm already jealous of the cars in posts #2 and #3 LOL but the 4 door drivers are still out there to be had. Just have to watch the listings everyday and be ready.

I have been watching. Not many that are in my price range I suppose. Also I think it's maybe because I'm looking for a 67-72 a body and 66-72 b body only.

Here is my first car. 72 Dart slant I paid $250 for. It was mint like it just came off the showroom. Zero rust, perfect shiny paint. I only have these three pics of it. Pictures were taken around 1991.

I never had a problem owning/driving a more door.
Does the same as a 2 door, uses the same mechanical parts.
Some that I have had over the years.

I always thought the mopar A body 4 doors had great styling for a 4 door. Yeah I have had a few and they are just as fun to drive as a 2 door.

Not A-bodies, but 5 doors!!! I believe these are all Max Wedge cars.

Not mine, but one I saw at the grocery store the other day. Tried sticking around to chat with the owner, but we must’ve missed each other.

Sometimes when I come back to my car there will be somebody waiting near it and when they see me open the door they say "hey whatcha got here ?" And sometimes when I get back to the car my hood is not all they way latched as if someone popped it to look at the engine and then didn't close it back all the way.

I get that sometimes, and I really don't mind at all chatting with folks about my car. In fact, I enjoy it. I'm happy to say I haven't found my hood like that yet, because I wouldn't be cool with that. Ask a man about his car? Cool. Touch it while he's away from it? Definitely NOT COOL.

My 66 Dart 270 /6 automatic. I bought it in 2012 and we used it for our wedding car instead of a limo in 2015. I still have it and use it when the weather is nice. Next spring I plan on starting the bodywork as it is starting to have rust issues since the last bodywork was done 20 years ago.
