Found a nice set of Subaru STI seats for my 68 Cuda. So far with the little I have done it looks like I will not require too many modifications to get them to work. Just wondering if anyone has used these in their car already and what sort of mods you may have done .Bit of a shot in the dark but no harm in asking.
Thanks

Yes, no harm in asking. Don't know what they look like - sans photo. Also wondering what you plan to do about matching front to (oem) rear, regarding color and texture? Looks like it will be custom upholstery job.
Now I can almost feel the words before they leave everyone's mouth - - "Hmm - must be couple of weirdos - both from BC." :canada:

Leave them stock and watch the “mopar” world burn.;)
lol,let em rip as these will be untouched. Super comfortable plus they put me in a nice driving position unlike the old seats that are bagged. Sort of felt like I was sinking to the floor. Obviously like any other original parts I have removed, they will stay in my stash.

What mods are needed?
How close to the ceiling?
What seatbelts will you use?

Use em. Document and update us and don’t look back. You’ll love the way those bolsters hold you in place during spirited drives.

Will keep you updated but so far with the little I have done the mods do not look too difficult. No plans for seat belts just yet, have not thought about that, although looks like the old ones will work.. Have the drivers seat in position and I love it. As you said will keep my butt in place, having only one arm that is golden. I am 5', 6" and I am setting it up for me, but there is lots of room to move it back and forwards. Prepping to put in another 340,have to pull the dash to repair the plastic that has let go and touching my tach needle etc. Have a list of things to do . This is a make over after 21 years including a re paint. Got all the cash I need just have to decide where I am going to spend it. Also working on a 65 Mustang that needs some love in the engine bay. Busy busy, do not know how I found time before I was retired..weird....t
