I got this bare steering wheel with a bunch of Mopar NOS parts. It appears to be NOS also, but, it has a few minor handling nicks and scratches from not being in a box. In 40 years of playing with Mopars, I just have never seen a wheel like this. It has the DCPD logo and 2768176 molded into the plastic next to the hub, which normally indicates to me that it's around a 1967 vintage wheel. I haven't tried to mount it on a column yet, but, it does have splines (and key spline, so, it's not a 4x4 truck) that look about the same size as most other Mopars of the 50's-90's. What it doesn't have is a center hub that would take the typical turn signal cancel ring and horn contact. I have one WAG that I'll keep to myself at the moment, but, I'd like to hear from others as to what they think it fits. Thanks.

67/68 Monoco.....first guess! Meh, close.....not right at ends of spokes

Yeah, there's a notch in the rim where the spokes meet it. The spokes are open and raw all the way from the hub to the rim, so, there must be something that mounts there to finish the appearance of the wheel.

That was my WAG too! No need for a turn signal on a boat! Anyone have a Chrysler Marine parts manual where they can look that puppy up? Are there any '60's Chrysler boats still afloat that might need one?

Funny how "great minds think alike"...

By golly you're right! I've been thumbing through hundreds of Chrysler boat photos and none had this wheel. I forgot all about some of those C-body tilt columns. I had a bunch of those wheels at one point, but, I usually left them complete, so, a bare wheel just didn't ring a bell. Well, that probably makes it bit more desirable anyway. Thanks!

Well, I guess it IS for a "boat" after all- just not the kind that floats!

The reason I probably couldn't find that casting number in the parts book, is that they use the color code part numbers for steering wheels! :BangHead:
