I feel like a real car guy now - i bought a Rotisserie

i thought i'd share a purchase i made today because i think it's a pretty good deal some of you might consider.

i've been wanting a "car Rotisserie" for a long time because - well, the "real" car guys have them and they are a wonderful tool that makes working on these old mopars SO much easier. but of course, these things have not been cheap, in fact, most of the ones i've always looked at were around $2000.

but right now, Eastland auto body in central Pennsylvania is having a Christmas sale on all kinds of bodywork stuff and tools and they are offering a new Titan Rotisserie for only $1050.00!! AND - the best part is that this unit is rated at 4500 lbs. lifting capacity which is the highest i've seen on one of these Rotisserie units.

with tax and shipping (which was like $250.00 to Pittsburgh, PA) i think total cost for this thing was around $1400 which is still pretty cheap for one of these things. some of you guys that have been wanting one of these tools, this might be the right time to finally make that purchase.

i've purchased other things off of Eastland and have had a good experience with them. last week i bought their 18 lb. parts cleaner/tumbler unit which i'm going to post a comment about once i try it out. there's going to be a LOT of nuts and bolts and small parts on the two 69 Barracuda's that are my winter project right now. i'm looking forward to throwing those parts into this tumbler to see how well it cleans parts.

here's a picture of the Titan Rotisserie i purchased. when i get it and put it together, i'll post some more pics.

That looks like you could put a whole dang car on that thing and be comfortable working on it! Looks really heavy duty. I'm liking the design too.
