the great mask debate

Other than wearing one all night while at work in the hospital, I rarely put one on. When I'm out, I keep one handy in case someone asks nicely and will gladly put it on for a few minutes.

I live in Northwest Georgia. The vast majority of folks here are not wearing masks. Hardly anyone. I do see some 70+ year olds wearing them.

Even though very few are wearing masks in my area, our rate of infection isn't any higher than a location that is "forced" to wear masks. How do you explain that?
