I think you would want a larger cut to cover the a/c lines closer to the drivers side plus a little hight for the vacuum hoses. I sold a complete firewall to Glen @ Carlisle. He only needed the master cylinder area. He splits time between NY & NC.

Thanks for the info. I could use a larger patch but figured that I could weld up the smaller AC line and misc holes without much trouble.
 
You could use round plastic or metal plugs and paint them to match.
