Throw your cam in the garbage?...

Interesting. I wonder if the crank trigger being fixed is why it didn’t accelerate
It seems like if big company engineers got involved with this manipulating the advance of the crank trigger might not be that big of an issue

I wouldn't see this as an adapt to what you have situation. I could see someone like trick flow casting heads that would have the pneumatic way of opening the valves and then you could manipulate the valves in any spot you wanted them....
I would think they could be ran off a singular crank trigger and then everything else manipulated from that trip point with a computer...

Pneumatics have been tried. Nothing new under the sun. The complexity is only worth the trouble IF you think 12,000 RPM is the lowest RPM you’ll use.

Other than that, just over complicated junk.

I saw this a while back, and my first thought was how interesting it would be to have an engine that would idle like a purring kitten, have great driving characteristics, then kick you in the chest when you nail it. The big downfall I see is when this goes out, it's going to be pricy.

I can only imagine everybody would have to have these heads. Of course it would have to be some kind of kit to include the heads likely it would be possible to get away with putting it under factory valve covers but who knows... I would almost suspect a custom valve covers well with something in the remove individual fuel injectors. How they're triggered and volume supplied.
I want this and take lift and this exhaust left and this duration for this RPM and change it for that RPM and then again for this RPM. And then completely change the program possibly almost on the Fly.. have station settings dang near like on your radio. Have your top ten favorites and then of course anybody who tells you what their cam is you can punch that in and say let me see how that cam works on my car... The camp possibilities or seemingly virtually endless.
Valve spring would seemingly only come into play foreclosing instead of force needed to open... Crazy to think about...

With this the throttle plate would not be needed. This would decrease the work the engine needs to do to pump air into the end at part throttle. That means real driving fuel economy would improve if other parasitic losses are the same or less.

No cam no lifters no pushrods no rockers...?
I think this is a pretty interesting concept. What goes through my mind is the multiple cam profiles you could throw into the computer at any given point within at least some kind of certain parameter I'm sure... Anyways a little food for discussion...

fluctuating can’t timing! Just a small low rpm, rises at high rpm. Now combine that with all the other wild things we have seen here before. Variable displacement, cylinder shut down, etc...

Perfect fuel mileage for the speed that I'm going, the gearing and engine that I have with the current weathern,
button #7......
