Original to a 1972 Dart or Demon. Not Original to my car. It was a Grandpa car originally. Gold with Black Vinyl top.Once you go black you dont go back...

Yep, those are cool decals! Where did you buy the decals? I'm going to need a new trunk stripe, mine is pretty faded.

Phoenix Graphics. Its a stencil. And then you spray it. So it's all the same color. Decals rarely match the big center section.

Finished painting the black. Looks pretty good imo, not perfect but im happy. I added a before and after using one of my spare redlines.
In some of the pictures it looks like there are big chunks missing from the red and chrome showing through but its just the lighting.

So in 30 degree weather, a couple pump shots, hit the starter button and we got life!!
Not sure why it doesn't seem to need a choke either - seems odd. Victor intake and 850 DP. (This engine was previously broken in on a dyno hence I didn't have to set it to high rpm to break it in.)
Took some detective work to find why no spark at first - the reluctor gap in the dizzy was too wide. Fixed that and it lit right off.

Drove it to school... my speedo needle jumps all over the place while driving. I also smelled some old car and a little bit of maybe transmission fluid (?) Car ran great! 3k rpm on the freeway, if I hit the gas the thing really loves to go, like it hits a powerband... dang I love this car! I can't wait to stroke it... it needs to get more smiles per gallon and less miles per gallon.
Oh also stopped for a prescription on my way home... pissed off everyone in front of me... the car is so loud and makes such an echo while in this line

Sucks that its getting snowed in but that view looks lovely.
It was the car’s best and worst year since I got it done. Made it to the big show at Carlisle, but barely moved otherwise. No other shows...
Very nice! I love the brown.
I've never been to a show with my car... it would be the laughing stock of the show if it made it to one anyways lol.

I put my scruffy rides in car shows, they get plenty of attention. Don't worry about perfection.
Not today, but last night... checked out a socket.. found a spare 1157 bulb... light works... kind of, it doesn't turn off... is this the incorrect bulb?
Degreasing parts and lining them up for the blast cabinet..
I believe the right bulb is a 1004. But that's not making it stay on. Likely a switch problem
