Which wheels do you prefer?

The Rallye wheels look better, but with the 71 centers, vice the later ones you have. The plain wheels on a 2dr sedan look like a teachers car or Mom's grocery-getter.....
 
I would just note that Cragar mags were a factory option on 65 Darts (13 inchers, though).

I think it depends on the trim.

If there's a lot of chrome etc, the rallye's look right, if it's a more bare bones appearance, the steelies. If you're going for a "tough" look, black steelies, since the make the tires "look" fatter from a distance, otherwise, body color.

I personally like the factory Rallye wheels but I know that some don't. These are the 14x 5 1/2" size.

I have a set that I am going to paint body color while also using the small hub caps.
I am going to offer the buyer the option of wheels but I am curious what the FABO members think. Which wheels do you like best?

Rallys look good on that car. The black painted steel not so much. Body colored with dog dish maybe better. Rally's have my vote.

Your killin' me Rob! I've since gone to sombrero caps....and then Centerlines. My car has too much silver and chrome on it for black wheels. Only other wheels it has had were OEM 14 Barracuda Mags but those insides were falling apart.

Biased. It looks great both ways.... Which one gives the car a little more "pop"? The Black wheels....

I apologize for that and all the pygmies in New Guinea. But the truth is......I think rally wheels look like puke on anything.....even layin on the ground. I've just never liked them. I think part of it is because they're so over done. But even without that, I've never liked how they look. I will admit.....if it makes you feel any better.......the one thing that they're NOT puke ugly on is the early Barracuda.....they're just plain ugly on those. lol

Im gonna buck the trend (nothing new for me!) and go with the rallyes. Ive always liked the rallyes better than the magnums.
That said, i like the steelies and caps too. Either black or blue is good, but i prefer the body color. (Could i be more wishy-washy?) [or is that a politically incorrect term for our chinese friends? ].
This coming from someone with black steelies and caps on his car, blue car at that.
 
You need more rubber on the back. The blue wheels look too grandma-ish for me, but that might be more of a function of the anemic tires mounted on them

That said, I kinda like the rallyes better.
 
Black looks best.

You know what they say, once you go black you never go back!
 
Maybe it's a combo of car color, tires and the rally center caps, I personally like the cone centers.

The blue wheels have 205-60-15s up front and 205-65-15s in back. The Rallye wheels had 75 series tires.
