Why buy a clone when you can buy the real thing? Clone was a bust, out of stock so I went to plan B: Chasing a used Yamaha RBX170 as far as going to the bank to drive 25 miles to pick up when a client of mine texted me that he had an Ibanez GSR200 that he just rebuilt (new pickups, pots, new strings, truss worked) ready to go and it was only 10 miles away so I told Yamaha man I found something closer, and maybe better for the young man, with its smaller neck and a lighter body. It was offered to me earlier for $50 as a basket case and I declined as I don't know squat about guitars. It has a few scratches on the back but I'm going to work on its finish when I can. Maybe wet sanding and a new coat of clear on it and a polish to give it a shine again.
