Hi Guys,
i´m in need of help here. I got a good deal of a Stroker kit 451.
Has got K1 con rods and a Mopar forged crank and Arias Pistons CP 4314.
now, my problem is, the Pistons measure 4.380 on top, down low 4.385. So i guess these are for a 4.385 bore?
My problem are the Rings. They are 0.043", 1/16 and 3/16.
But i cant find any supplier who has Rings in this Boresize...

Anybody know someone who make custom rings? Affordable?
Don´t want to pay 500 bucks for rings.

Thanks!

hughs engines -------------
you need to learn where u mike pistons .

total seal has, 4.320 + .065 set, .043, 1/16, 3/16. gappless top, is MSL4334, classic set is CSL4334 or CRL 4334.

WHERE are you measuring from? There's only ONE place to measure pistons. On the skirt about half way down the skirt. What's the measurement "THERE"?

All i know about Arias Pistons say that measurement have to be taken on the bottom of the Skirt.
Sure i have a smaller measurement 0.5" more up.

Bottom skirt 4.385
Middle is 4.383
at the Rings is 4.380

At the gauge point from CP its 4.384
Lets see what TS gives me on options...

When i want 0.004 - 0.005" clearance, i should bore to 4.390 or am i wrong?
Its not my first engine i build. but never had Pistons like these.

You can get almost any ring from almost anybody. But sets are cheaper. I don’t bother with gapless, and I tend to run Hastings or Speed Pro most. With done Mahle or Total Seal (normal gap type).
