I bought a conversion Van that has a Power inverter with 4 extra batteries. Things are unhooked and I don't want to blow things up and I want to add a solar panel

All 12 volt batteries? Are they isolated? Non isolated batteries all need to be the same cca’s.
Going to need a big panel to maintain them.
