43jr....I’m sure many know the tragedy that happened to Richard petty when he lost control of the car and crashed in to the stands killing a young boy. Richard was so disgusted by what happened that later he crushed the car with a bulldozer and buried it, it was dug up in the recent years but there’s not much left to it. Richard never got over that accident. I believe there were two cars built, 43 jr and 43 jr OUTLAWED....I believe outlawed was referring to him being banned from NASCAR in 1965 for running a hemi engine. I’m not sure if the other car exists today, but a faithful recreation has been built, I believe it was done by Richard Petty.
