Restored car pet peeves

* The core support with NO blackout on every car that isn't black. A guy restores a car and fails to paint the support black, so now you see the body color on the other side of the grille.
ME TOO!!!! this is so easy and cheap to fix and look so bad especially with light or bright body colors. I even see it on otherwise beautiful restorations showing in stock classes.

There's lots I'm willing to look past in a car shown as "modified" - If that's the class it's all a matter of personal taste unless it compromises mechanical function. And yes I then rate the car on the basis whether the car fits my own aesthetic sense. No matter how much I try I can't get past metal braided hoses (especially in poor condition or with iffy clamp systems). And yes I admit it - once you get over 17 inch wheels, especially with narrow sidewall tires, i just can't get past it. My usual response is - the best thing about those wheels is it only tales 20 minutes to take them all off...
