74 Duster- 904 Trans. Anybody know where I can find a Gear Shift Control Lever Grommet? Thanks for any help

You guys know the gear selector -where you click it into drive, 1'st 2'nd, reverse. The little arm that goes into the selector. There is a little grommet in there

It's either a seal, or an o ring, down load a free FSM ay mymoparts & see what the correct parts are that you are seeking.

Excellent idea. Ya, we need to see it to be able to help. Once the OP figures out exactly what it is, start a wanted thread to find one here on FABO.

Check with a local transmission shop. I believe the part you are looking for is called a linkage grommet.

I’m not sure but u have to lube it up good to install it and the shift rod. There is a special tool for that job. Kim

Yea, I bought a little assortment pack of grommets from Dorman, but I couldn't get the one that looked like it would fit in there
