More horn questions today...

It looks like the center horn "emblem" that fits into the horn ring is held snug by an o-ring (according to the manual). The one on mine isn't big enough to hold the piece snug, and I think a prior owner just glued it in. Anyone try something off the plumbing shelf or at the hardware store? Am I barking up the wrong tree here? :) Thanks!

Sure, give it a try if you can find one the correct size. Take your button with you to test fit. The O ring should fit at least half way into the slot.

I tried several o-rings, but ended up using good old electrical tape wrapped around the button. Crude but effective, at least for now.

I have made my own O rings. there are kits available with different width and length of materials and adhesive( Super Glue). I have cut and spliced some O rings to fit hard to find applications ,just cut it at a 45 and use super glue.
