Who mentioned black? My barn find 65 was
au natural, bare aluminum
without a hint of paint. It was so ugly that I ended up painting it AL silver to match the NN "silver poly" fender tag call out and its new NN paint over the copper paint it had on it when I bought it. That didn't match the NN4BB silver w/black stripe on black interior fender tag and I didn't see any indications that it was silver under that copper color. It was an April 1 build, maybe someone's idea of a joke? Here's what its supposed to look like
