Does this pickup look like one for use with a 187/699 pan???

Is there any way to identify it for sure? I can't fund any numbers on it or anything. Thanks guys!

Yes it does look like the one needed for the pans you listed. It may also be for a "933" pan, that tube would be about a 1/2 inch shorter than the one for a 187/699. What it isn't, is the one for use in a 971 pan, a baffle gets in the way. The melling part # for the one you have pictured is 63-s3. the one I have pictured is the melling 63-s4, for use with the "971" pan.

Thanks! Any idea if the curved pickup would fit with the 187-style pan? Are they the same height?

Should be the same height. I have an extra S3. I bought it because I didn't like the way the first one went into my son's 440. Turns out the block was really tapped deep enough and the original pickup had been bent to fit...

The one for the baffled pan works with either. The one for the non baffled pan will not work with a baffled pan.
