Hello from Austria!
Hi everybody,
my name is Chris and I am recently proud owner of a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS. I am from Styria in Austria and it took some time to finally find this car which I was looking for quite some time.
It has the original 340 with the 4-speed manual. The previous owner bought it from a collector in California who himself purchased it from the very first owner. So it came with the black plates, front seats & headliner had been redone and some minor other stuff. My plan is to keep the survivor look on the outside and renew all the technical stuff. Rust is no issue on this one, as you can see the lower end section of the rear panel had been replaced some time ago but needs to be redone and the car has been repainted in the original color on each side.
Right now I am working on the ignition and the carb since the motor fires up but stops after a few seconds no matter what I am trying to do with the gas pedal.
