They found in my blood results low was potassium was 3.4 and they like it at 3.5 and above, and the tropinin which shows I suffered some heart damage. Prayers to you. I went through this 10 years ago. Turned 57 when I was in the hospital and was in very good shape. There were a lot of people just like me doing rehab. Look at it like your engine started sputtering and you had to take it on for a tune up. Now you're going to be good to go for a long time. You're gonna be good! Take care. Steve
 
These days stents are a piece of cake. Probably put u on some meds to even the ticker and you will be good to go. Glad it was an early warning and not the curtain call! Best Christmas present ever!
 
You don’t have any blockages but you have a condition in which a blood vessel in your heart has swelling. I didn’t ask if they were able to do anything about it, but he also didn’t tell me there was nothing that could be done. 4-6 week recovery time. That’s the scoop my ex got from the Dr, I didn’t get a stint. I’ll be here till atleast Sunday. Thanks everyone
 
Best wishes for a full and quick recovery, lousy way to spend Christmas, but on the flipside you were fortunate to get there and get treatment.
 
I just talked to the heart Dr. I didn’t have a heart attack. I have a heart hematoma “bruise” caused from weakening of the arterial walls and cause some bleeding. I’ll be here in the hospital til late Sunday early Monday. Since I’m so young and this situation is very unique and rare, here mostly for observation. My heart valves are in great shape. The hardest part is no visitors allowed. I appreciate all the kind worlds and consider you all my family. Dustin

Good news for sure!

The current hospital rules are certainly hard on everyone, I experienced that first hand with my dad being in the hospital multiple times this fall before he passed. The rules certainly aren't perfect, but the hospitals are just doing their best to keep their employees and patients as safe as possible. Still sucks for patients and their families.

Whatever the recommendations turn out to be, follow them and follow up with your regular physician. Best wishes to you!

Dustin....ask the doctor if your Aorta is affected also. They probably checked it, but if they didn't mention whether the aorta was checked.....it might not have been affected, but it's worth asking. Glad you got good news that it wasn't actually a heart attack! Hang in there!

Thanks I’m hanging in here missing my kid, this no visitors sucks, but I understand. Seems like all my valves are great. The bruise that I acquired is a mystery but it swelled and blocked the LAD artery. It’s what caused all my heart pain. It came at me sudden and intense.

Damn man, I hope they figure out what caused it. Maybe too much leaning over a fender!!

Probably a good thing there aren't too many hot nurses around. Your blood pressure would go too high!!
 
I’m finally home from the hospital thank goodness. Be taking some time off of work to recover. I’m feeling good but not much energy, got to watch my little girl open her presents finally. Great to be home and relax.
