I use a siphon gun or a plane old turkey baster.Attach a long hose,I used 5/16'' fuel hose so it reaches the bottom. Do it right after driving so oil is warm.
Is this the best ? NO. Because you can't clean the housing clean and check for problems.BUT when all you want to do is change fluid, you can.

What he said. Only way to do it without breaking the seal would be to siphon it out the filler hole.

I weld drain plugs into mine now. I may start welding fillers into the top of them too.
