When I was a teenager in the 80's and first started drinking beer, Strohs was the go to beer. Not so much due to taste, but it was the first beer in NJ where I grew up to offer a 30 pack for the same price as a 24 pack of Budweiser. That was good enough reason in itself.

When my Dad turned me on to Strohs around 81 it was $6.75 a 15 pack. Think they were one of the first to go 15/30. He was drinking Red/White and blue at $3 a case. Strohs was much better!

My fish always had a older white and gold Strohs can as the catch for the radiator on drag day! Wish I would have taken a pic of it when I tore it down for re-build in 2012!
