Love Winter ?

I survived living in Winnipeg for 50 years, where it could be -30 for weeks at a time. Best part of winter? When you have finally finished clearing the 8 inches of snow that fell during the day while you were at work, and get in the house to have a drink and some dinner, sit your *** down in the recliner just as the plow comes down the street or alley (depending on your neighborhood), and leaves a nice 2 foot high by 2 foot wide (or bigger) pile of icy hard packed snow in front of the driveway and sidewalk that you just finished clearing.

I had an old school Ariens snowblower that I bought used, 5 hp, 24 inch cut, took a little more time to clear the snow, but that thing did a great job, unfortunately, when I moved I was unable to bring it, and the pos I have now, while it has a bigger cut and 11 hp, is not nearly as good as the old Ariens.

I have been in Southern Alberta for 7 years now, wife said she saw a plow go down our street once, but the bucket was up. We do get some pretty big snowfalls here, but it often melts when a chinook comes through.

I do not have a snowmobile, never have, I don't ski, and I haven't skated for probably 15 years, so I guess it's safe to say I don't like winter. I have plenty of memories of getting stuck, freezing my ***, and fingers, and toes, etc. I don't need to experience it anymore.
