What color breather do yall like best. I currently have a chrome lid but im not huge fan of chrome im think either black or the orange would look good. But also think maybe painting it the same color as the engine would like good as well. Im not sure. Eventually I want to get an original air cleaner but can't afford one right now so I'm just gonna use the one I have and paint it, Or leave it I don't know!!

Everything looks so original I'd go with the engine color.
I was leaning towards that too but then I got to thinking orange because wasn't the original air cleaners orange on 360s? Or was that a dealer thing?

I really like that orange!! The blue is nice too! I wish there was a way I could have it anodized so it would be the colored chrome like in your pictures that metal orange looks really good

Pssstttt, translucent "candy" powders can create that exact look. This is just one of dozens.

Applied over a shiny base, translucent powders look like a colored mirror.

Though the best prep for long-term durability includes media blasting (which will rough up your existing chrome finish and provide "tooth" for the powder to adhere), it can be shot right on top of that chrome. Of course any defects in the chrome will show through; I don't recommend it anyway (preferring a chrome replica powder base over blasted metal instead) ... because if it's flaking, peeling or bubbling now, it will just take that pretty candy orange with it when it finally separates from the substrate steel.

I don't have any candy orange in my stash but here's a couple other candies to give you an idea of how they turn out.

Red and gold are both candies.

Just presenting options ... :D

I would lean toward the factory air cleaner orange, (different from street hemi orange) which seems to be the same shade as a fram filter, and then an aircleaner engine callout decal (or pie pan, if it fits) of your choice.

Yeah I am too actually. Lol I think that would look really good. I actually already have the callous decal I just haven't put it on until I decided what color I wanted it lol. Thanks im leaning towards the factory orange as well just to give it a touch of originally and that would give me a good excuse to finally have something coated by @CudaChick1968 lol
