1969 Dodge Dart Swinger clean up

Time to seal the aluminum steering box with Tremclad Clear tarnish preventer.

3 light coats.. after I wiped the runs from being stupid on the first coat. Dries to the touch almost instantly.

Broke the wax seal protector off.

Cleaned up the seals with a Q tip and wax and grease remover. No sign of any glass media making it past the wax on either shaft.

Lots of experimenting during my Bee restoration had me chose this for the strut bushing washers and 3 speed wiper motor. Very close to original plating colour without the expense or wait of being 100% correct.

How I get away with spraying in the shop with uncovered cars. I use to think just spraying in here was fine, but it wasn't and the mist drifted out of the "meat locker".

Bought two of these off Amazon. Pull cord opens exhaust flaps and turns fan on. Off closes pretty well and I can leave it in the window.

Cheap filter in front of the fan. Works like a charm, drawing air from across the shop and out the window.
