It will fit
Just different motor mounts
Biscuit instead of spool
What will I have to do to get it to work with a big block? Is schumacher still in business, (tried to call but # disconnected) or is someone else selling adapter mounts. Thanks

Also, If you have an existing sway bar in your 73, the 68-72 won’t allow it to be used.
So years ago I took a big block A-body K-frame and removed the bottom plate and installed a 73 lower plate. I was then able to run the 73 calipers in the proper location with the 73 sway bar.

I believe I saw that somebody purchased the rights, or tooling or something to Schumachers business.
I can’t remember offhand though what company it was. I’ve been scrolling through everybody that I get emails from, but haven’t found it yet. They should be out there though.

So, lemme see if I got this right:
You want to install a BB into your 73 Duster, that currently has a /6 K-member; is that right?
How about you put your location; town or nearby town, and state, into your side-bar, so we can see where you are at.

Do you have a BB transmission?
A BB rearend?
BB brakes?
BB suspension?

I can help you with all of that, oh wait no autotrans, but if you are in Florida, shipping might hurt.

What I have is a k-member that someone cut the motor mounts off. The only way to use it would be a motor plate. I didnt want to do that if I didn't have to. I have a BB trans, and a built 8 3/4 rear. It has disk brakes on it but I think they are just regular small block ones. What about torsion bars? I am in Calif

I have a 73-76 V8 k-member but I am in Mississippi shipping might kill you. 125 plus shipping. I also have lower control arms with tabs for the same k member

If I get it, can you check the shipping to 92585. In my experience, fedex is cheaper when it is over 15 pounds. Also is there anything special you need to do to make that k-member work with a big block, or is it better to get a biscuit style K-member to fit the big block?

When placing a wanted ad, you really need to have your location listed in the ad or at least in your box to the left of the screen. It would be pointless for a person to respond if you were in Antarctica or Russia, right?

California is a H U G E state. On the East coast, 13 states encompass the same amount of miles of coast line.
If you want help, you need to make it easier for people to do so. The cost to ship a K member from South Carolina, Texas or New York would exceed the value of the K member itself. Check with local Mopar clubs, one of their members may be able to help.

Don't know if you got my post but, but if you have an email or phone #so I can get ahold of you that would be appreciated. Thanks

Chuckl, it's a spool mount K from from a Duster. $100.00 need zip code for shipping quote.

Jim Lusk can modify K frame for big block using readily available spool mount and does great work at a fair price.
