Hey there,
I have a Harbor Freight stand up portable sandblaster that worked fine until the hose clogged up. I am looking for a replacement in a 10 foot length. ID size is 1/2". HF doesn't have replacement hoses for sale, I have to look elsewhere.
Anyone have a reliable supplier?

Go on the Skat Blast site. They have all kinda upgrades that make cheap blasters work like professional ones.

If it's the hose which feeds the media to the gun, can you not blow out the clog?
If not, I'd get some clear vinyl 1/2" tube from the hardware store.

Not that @RustyRatRod's suggestion wouldn't also work.

I tried to clear the blockage. I ran a 24" screwdriver through each end but it is blocked solid in the middle.

Taki it off and slap it on the floor it should eventually clear out. Sounds like damp media in it.

Dang. I've usually been able to just blow the hose out with compressed air; either by plugging the Nozzle and letting it back-flow or by using a blow gun into the tube/hose. But I can imagine blasting media locking up tight enough that it may not work, as well.

I made the mistake of using sand until I was almost out, then I dumped in walnut shells. Somehow, it all locked up and stopped flowing.

They will do that. Try what I posted might have to kind of work it out and repeat. Could have been wet baking soda, then you are done.

Don't feel bad. I have a box that's mixed sand, slag, and walnut shells because I'm lazy and stubborn. I should've just cleaned the reservoir out completely the first time... Would have saved me hours.

I won't use the shells again. It was as if the particles are too large and tend to group up and create blockage.

Clean out the hose with water, solvent, soap, or whatever. Then buy the HF in line moisture remover, and you won't have a problem. I fought mine for years with different media, but the moisture remover solved all the problems.

Coat hanger. If that doesn't do it, slide it over a piece of pipe and roll it over itself inside out until you get to your blockage. Should just peel back over top of of the blockage. The highly technical term I've always heard for that way of doing it is "dog turding it out". Lol...
