My son tipped me off to a series on MotorTrend channel called "Graveyard Carz", which deals with historically correct restorations of sixties and seventies Mopar cars, mostly rare and collectible performance cars. If one can overlook the mostly-retarded antics of Mark, who alone in the dark and twisted recesses of his warped mind, believes he is both humorous and witty as well as being a gifted entertainer, (not) and focus upon the cars, the incredible near-perfect restorations and the extreme talent of his very adept crew, the show can be an invaluable learning lesson for the Mopar fan. Mark's knowledge alone is legendary, and in the moments when he is serious and imparting knowledge, it would be hard to imagine a better teacher/instructor in the craft of rebuilding wrecks and derelicts, many of which are in Titanic-like disrepair. Having just discovered this show a couple weeks ago, I've been binge watching episodes on On Demand in an effort to get caught up to present day, though I can only imagine how Covid has affected such a business. Any other fans (or haters, even)?

I found the Motor Trend channel when i upgraded my Comcast TV subscription.
Saw the Graveyard Cars program when thumbing thru the new channels the upgrade got me.
I have a love, hate, relationship with that show.
Watching the older shows, and new ones, i can only take so much, before i loose interest, my attention span wanders away, and the segments turn into nothing more than bs drama.
Worman, is just a legend onto himself.
Wether scripted on not, he has one big ego.

I think Graveyard business is doing real good. All the metal dipping places are months behind here. I live about 5 miles from there shop.

I haven't seen much of the show but I don't have a problem with his personality. He definitely has some knowledge. As time marches on the hobby will lose people like this. It is made for TV so if you keep that in mind I think the content is well served.....

I've noticed several real rough B body cars with high starting prices listed on ebay by them.

I'm fine with the show, I just don't like listen to "Worm Man" when he starts his stupid acting.

Mark has so much Mopar knowledge .......it turned him into a MAJOR A-HOLE!! Don't watch it anymore after I got tired of his attitude.:mob::realcrazy::soapbox::BangHead:

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the fact that Mark may be his own worst enemy. At times I find his humor brings out a chuckle or two, especially WRT movie trivia, but let's face it; if I want yuks I'll watch Seinfeld reruns or whatever. I'm tuned in to watch these guys restore Mopars to their former (factory) glory, which few, if any, other shows do. The GYC crew is strictly factory resto (with a limited few exceptions such as modern hemi/Hellcat installs and the "Christine" resto) so I'm learning as I watch them reassemble some of the most gorgeous...and correct...cars out there. It's extremely inspiring for me. I must admit I was really disappointed to find out Dave Rea left at the end of season 9, because he didn't think he was Michael Jackson or Lenny Bruce or something and was very, very good at what he did. I have a ton of respect for that man and have an inkling WHY he might have left the show. And the initials are "MW"...
I am enjoying the series overall, but I'm thinking if the show gets cancelled, we'll all know why. And the initials are the same as above.

David Rea has a YouTube channel and his own resto shop out in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It’s a pretty good channel just not a lot on it.

I enjoyed it when it was 95% wrenching and 5% "drama queens" but when it became 95% whiny BS I just gave up.
Yes...as I'm getting into the 2020 era I'm finding the good to bad ratio is decreasing dramatically. Why can't it just be about the damn cars?

I have to say, what REALLY picks my *** about these types of shows, whether building cars, building houses, frying eggs or whatever, is how everybody is always filling their pants about some deadline they are struggling to meet. That doesn't entertain me at all.

Agreed. I like how, early on, Mark had made some comment about how these projects "take as long as they're gonna take, sometimes years" and how he'd rather do it correct and perfect than rush it out. I had a lot of respect for him, and that statement. Then came the 'self-imposed' SEMA deadlines (who gives a rat's ***!) and now in season 11 he has the one-of-two Hemi car coming back to him because of lousy paint flaws and such. News Flash: If you'd quit hamming for the camera and run your effing business, cars would not be coming back.

Mopar Hollywood.
For my dime, just give me a show that actually shows how to build or fix something. Don't need drama, deadlines, f***** up humor, silly girls.
OK so sometimes I can stand a silly girl.

I agree on that deadline crap. It's like they put themselves into an impossible situation on purpose.

I always skip this show and just watch everyone put a LS motor in a C 10 truck and slam it on the ground...must be 10 of these a day on MT

Mark..... Narcissist / Not funny
Cousin Doug... Borderline retarded
Alyssa... Nope

The cars... I can watch all day in spite of them

I watch the show and try to filter through the antics. A couple years ago I was on a road trip with the Barracuda and dropped by, the crew was busy filming but Allysa was manning the front desk and was quite pleasant to talk with. Didn't talk about her involvement on the show and weather she likes it or not, she seamed like a genuine person. She was surprised that I had already driven 1000 miles on this trip, thought the car was cool, different than what she is use to. Got my shirts and thanked her for her time.

For me the show is more about learning a little about the cars and maybe a trick or two, in general I can see past the antics and just filter it out. generaly it is on in the background while I'm doing other stuff.

I enjoy it mostly and have learned a lot from the show. Some seasons are definitely better than others. Some shows are really good, some are just stupid. I generally record it and watch it later do I can fast forward through the stupid / fake drama parts. Not many times you can see a lot of cool mopars on tv, so I think it is a great show overall.
