Your first car.

Mine was a grayish blue (not as blue as the picture) and rust '71 AMC Gremlin. It had a 232 straight 6, auto trans and manual everything else. I had no say in what vehicle my first car would be. My dad saw it for sale and decided that it was the one for me. He told me "you'll drive it and you'll like it". He was 1/2 right, "I drove it".

My dad said he would do the down payment, etc.. on whatever I could make the monthly payments on. There was a red hot rod Nova on this used car lot and I LIKED IT! Dad said, "You'll get killed in that". Soooo, My 71 Gremlin 232 was yellow with black stripe. 68 dollars per month for 2 years.
My best friend had a 65 SS Impala hot rod. We used my car to get to school and jobs and part stores. Most of our spare time was spent turning wrenches on the Impala for weekend cruising, street racing, other foolishness.
I had a blue 73 Levis X Gremlin with 304 for a few years also. It was a lot more fun to drive.
