ill try and answer, and I may be wrong but someone who quits especially booze (alcoholic) needs a support system. Maybe the OP wants/needs a bit of affirmation that he/she is doing good. even if it is from the internet. It helps them stay "clean and sober" AA will tell you god or a higher power helps also. op wants someone to say "good job, good for you" and it motivates them to keep going with it. Its too easy to fall off the wagon. i know some may not understand but then again some do. OP if If i am way off I apologize this wasnt aimed at you directly mainly a generalization of how people may need support to stay clean and sober.
