Make some time January 7, 8 and 9

The one YR posted on balancing was really good. If these are half as good, it will be time well spent. Buy some snacks, keep the coffee pot and the couch warm for 3 days. It will be worth it.

Bump for a reminder. I’ll be posting a link later to a webinar in which Darin Morgan will be speaking. If you want to learn about airflow and horsepower, Morgan is a great resource. And it’s FREE.

Yep, from what I was able to see I was impressed. Honestly I have no machinist experience & now I can clearly see why it is so costly. Hoping I didn't miss the head flow part, but I'll re-watch it in its entirety

Warren Johnson
Ed Pink
Billy Godbold
Ben Strader

You can’t PAY for an education from these guys and today they are doing it for free.

When is the "Virtues of EFI" webinar? The 'balance' was informing.

I thought you'd say "Never".

Nope. Ben Strader is talking today and he is someone I listen to when he talks EFI. Not a bunch of bubblegummers.

But today he’s not talking about EFI. He is talking about spintron testing and at some point he is going to cover now crank balancing can be seen on the spintron.

I’m hoping he also includes a discussion on dampers, because it’s all part of it.

Are these downloaded anywhere or do you have to watch them at a certain time.

I was wondering this as well since my work schedule usually keeps me from watching these, but today they specifically mentioned that after this live Expo, you will be able to go back and view it again when you want, as many times as you want.
I don't yet know if we can sign up and view other/older videos that I did not sign up for. But I hope so. I would like to see the last one yellowrose posted as well. And any others I can.

You can watch them right now. Go to engine performanceexpo.com and you can view them there.

The Musi interview and Q&A was worth its weight in gold. Any time WJ speaks...you just have to listen and take notes.

Also, Billy Godbold had a great video on their low shock technology lobes...but the best part was when he confirmed that LSA matters and its just not as simple as a function of the events. Plus there is a TON of other stuff in there...John Callies talking about his lifters and such.

You can’t pay for this stuff and you don’t have to even leave the couch. I hope anyone who really loves the science of the ICE watches this stuff.

There is also some good info on rings and bore geometry. It’s not 1999 any more when it comes to ring seal, oil control and horsepower.

EDIT: my bad...the web address is engineperfromanceexpo.com
