I would not even go in there.... No point..... My advice to anyone wanting to consume their life on forums like that is go walk a dog or visit **** sites. You will sure get alot more out of those 2 things than thinking people have the solution for all the BS in this country now.....

I don't talk politics in the main forum where I keep it cars only and have an active build thread going.

On the politics side of it, I would have never thought I'd "meet" a few great political minds who are people I never thought I'd have anything in common with because on the surface we don't, yet they are the ones I've become most fond of and they make the most sense.
 
I go to the N&P forum on here to read and learn.
At any rate, I do research mostly and then draw my own conclusions on a topic, that is if it interests me........
Agreed, some of the people on there are pretty bull headed and some really go for the throat.
It's not for the faint of heart or thin skinned for sure.

On the other forums on here, I spend probably 90% of my time on them.
Again, reading and researching what people are doing with their cars or how they solve problems and who helped.
I try to help others when I can, and if I'm not sure of a solution, then I won't post an answer to the thread.
I'm here for the love of the cars!

If there is a forum on here that doesn't appeal to me, I simply don't go in there.
Sometimes I'm not in the mood for N&P or the member's restoration section (for example), so I don't bother with them for that sitting.

The bottom line is, tailor your viewing to your interests.
You have a choice..........

Rusty please I'm not trying to start an argument I like your comments and ideas so please don't get me wrong I'm only asking why ban something that other guys like to discuss on any web site whether it be this one or another? I been on the political site a few times and even commented but now I don't and it doesn't bother me on what there doing just like the hot Mopar babes I'm not interested and should we shut down jokes and funny stuff as well.
I guess if we don't like what's going on we should stay away from the sites and stay with what we like.
Just my 2 cents .

Like a new fangled bad *** Vineria disease on a Boomerang they keep coming back with new email addresses on the new names. There has been in the past a lot of discussion on how to do this. If it was that easy, it would’ve been done. Trust me on this.

A smart move that should be followed by everyone else. But since the political forum is here, it gets used quite a bit. Damn shame and a waste of space.

I like cars and will just keep it cars.
Sometimes, this very simple approach is the simply the best solution.

Surprising what you learn when you take the topic off of cars isn’t it?

Sorry, but someone above said not to discuss politics and religion. For me, just a mention of ether is all I’ll take and tell you to leave it there. You want to claim your religion, fine, stop there. I really don’t care. Born and some raising in the big city you’ll find a whole lot of things on all sorts of topics. The basic thing to city life is really the same as country life. Respect others as you would like to be respected. You don’t like someone because of XXXX? Then just STFU and walk away. Happiness is around the corner and down the block, go there. But for some others, you may have opened the door to there Hatred. If the lesson above is ignored, shame on them. We have enough jerks in the world.

There are so many better things to do. To that end, time to get dinner started! Enjoy the day crew!
 
Oh! @Fred Scigliano , to think rusty’s comments are more geared to the no class troll and super fouled mouth name calling instigator that has no good in mind and typed responses.

The exchange of ideas and arguing for them is one thing.
Becoming dumb and low class about it with just instigations the other side.

This is what I believe Rusty means.

I try very hard to check my politics at the door. I posted something a while back & it got moved to N & P because of the content. When I posted it, it WAS NOT meant to be political. Oh well, I just shrugged my shoulders & moved on.

The speedmaster interest must be a worn out subject so I think I’m going to drop part 2. To much time invested to keep it going.

Trouble is I only have a very old Torker intake or speedmaster dual plane intakes that he plans on using for his street car. I’ll have to look to see how far I got porting a spare Victor340 intake I have on my shelf.
