I'm actually doing this with my Shelby Dakota. I bought it new in March of 89. Have kept it all original forever. It needs paint and stripes again as well as every gasket on the motor is leaking from age. Plan is to stash the original 318 under the bench and drop a mild 360 in its place. Also removing the original hood so I can cut up and scoop a hood like I've always wanted to do to it. A couple of other mild mods and wheels. Nothing that can't be undone relatively easily.
