My first car... '70 Camaro. I'm not proud of that.
My second car... '74 Cuda. I am proud of that. I still have it since '78.

Nothing wrong with a 70 camaro in my opinion?
Although I like a cuda better!

My first car was 1965 Plymouth Valiant four-door that I paid $125.00 for and purchased circa 1973. Turned it into a bracket racer with original 273 but I swapped in a four-speed and E-Body 8 3/4 sure-grip. Sold it in 1980 for around $2,800 to the now famous "Renteria Brothers" who raced it for twenty years more (faster and faster as time went on).

1970 Javelin SST. 360 Auto. Paid $80 bucks for it because front end stoved in. I was 14 at the time. Took 2 years to get it road worthy and remember how hard parts were to find for it although it was only 10 years old. Replaced it with a 69 442. Wish I had that one back!

My 1st was a 1968 SS 396 Chevelle, 325 HP. automatic in 1972. I was a youngin & ruined it by jacking it up, way to big of a cam & so on. My mom broke her ankle & the only car she could drive was my Chevelle, she borrowed it one day for a trip to town & got a speeding ticket in it. It idled so high that in gear it would go pretty fast & she got a speeding ticket in a school zone. I ended up selling the Chevelle a year later & bought the 1969 Swinger 340 4-speed. (picture taken in 1974) I had it for a while, sold it & bought it back. I used to race my buddy home after High School was out for the day, he had a 69 Road Toad, Sadly cancer overwhelmed it. This day & age I'm sure it could have been fixed up. I still have 2 1969 Swingers that I have owned since the late 70's.
Sorry, the Chevelle pictures are off a home movie my mom took.

I put an L88 scoop on it. Spoiler, side pipes and I flared the back wheel wells to hide some rust. It looked fast... it wasn’t.
