If you have synced the Throttle WOT to the WOT KD position. then your trans will be fine.
The delayed upshifts speak to the Line-Pressure having been increased.
If you don't like the grandpa PT upshifts (too early), you can only change that by modding the governor. Which really is not overly complicated. The thing that will take the longest is just getting the back of the car up high enough to scoot under it,lol.
