One of the last times I drove semi at a food loading spot in Oregon I backed up to the dock and as usual set the dock plate and went into trailer to release the load locks and as I was stepping into the trailer to do that some one got in my semi and pulled it away from the dock that put me on the ground as I was stepping in the trailer. I guess I'm lucky I wasn't on a fork lift or pallet jack when that happened.
I bet you and I could talk all night about driving semi.
Wow, that's scary when some idiot does something like that. We had a similar incident in one of our other terminals where a shunt driver pulled a trailer out while the forklift was still unloading it, lucky the forklift operator felt the trailer move and stayed in the trailer.
Between driving truck and city transit bus for over 30 years combined, yeah, I got some stories. I have no doubt you have as many Fred.
